I pretty much took the entire summer off from updating this, (I know, pretty much the worst thing a blogger could do) but in my defense it’s been a really hectic/exhausting summer.
Anywho, here’s a bunch of stuff I/we’ve accomplished, though the crazy-ass summer of ‘11.

The other day some cool NYC graphic designers made some posters anthropomorphizing Manhattan and Brooklyn as they go through a simulated divorce. Being the quick individual I am, I suggested that we at DAPS make up a response from our home borough of Staten Island, having SI as an insecure/needy acquaintance of the other boroughs. Being without my trusty Photoshop (as I recently got a wicked computer virus) I passed the idea to Carlo who executed it perfectly.

It seems that every time I sit on an idea for a while before putting it out into the world, it turns out to be pretty successful. Recently I approached Vin Forte about a concept that I had for a series of photoshops that combined the LCD opinions of the guido with the pretentiousness of the hipster. We brainstormed a few possibilities, which I quickly churned into photoshops. After sitting on my desktop for about 2 weeks the shoop was eventually used as the main image in one of our DAPS link dumps.

It was a very exciting month in DAPSville, as we very quietly passed the 1,000,000 pageviews mark. It’s not the greatest number for a 3 year old blog but it made us feel really good about ourselves.
It’s really hard to top something like that so I’ll just make a little list of the other things [...]

I’m realizing that I’m probably going to update this about once a month which isn’t too bad for what I like to call a “Living Resume” Today there isn’t a ton to share, but here we are anyway.
