The other day some cool NYC graphic designers made some posters anthropomorphizing Manhattan and Brooklyn as they go through a simulated divorce. Being the quick individual I am, I suggested that we at DAPS make up a response from our home borough of Staten Island, having SI as an insecure/needy acquaintance of the other boroughs. Being without my trusty Photoshop (as I recently got a wicked computer virus) I passed the idea to Carlo who executed it perfectly.

Last month Carlo and I did work on this little photoshop/article for URLesque called “Memeopoly” after discussing it in the DAPS offices with Drew. In the days following the post going up at URLesque it picked up some serious traction and ended up in some pretty lofty places over the interweb.

It was a very exciting month in DAPSville, as we very quietly passed the 1,000,000 pageviews mark. It’s not the greatest number for a 3 year old blog but it made us feel really good about ourselves.
