Anywho, here’s a bunch of stuff I/we’ve accomplished, though the crazy-ass summer of  ‘11.

NBT finished up work on the beautiful Charitubl.com, which is by far my favorite design. Major props to Tavis, Carlo, and the Charitubl guys because this is pretty spectacular.

NBT also made an appearance at the SI Health and Wellness Expo, discussing Web Presence and Social Media with doctors and other interested parties in the community.

We also created websites for Daisy Dukes BBQ, Elderview Talk Show, Noble Media, and a handful of other interesting clients. this summer.

In DAPS news, Damian and I made a fun little video mashing up The Legend of Zelda with Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” (My concept, his execution) and it went nuts after being featured on the LOL, Geeky, and Win Pages of Buzzfeed.com.

They even gave us some nifty badges!

We also had a bunch more success on Twitter when Opie from Opie and Anthony RT’d me,

and then on Tumblr when my stupid Weezer macro was featured on their LOL page.

I know, that’s not super exciting, but I thought I’d share. Moving on, we finally launched a DAPS T-Shirt store. All of you who have been asking us where you can get merch finally have a place to waste your money on DAPS!

Why would anyone want to spend their hard earned money on us? It probably has something to do with this business:

That’s very very cool for some guys who have made a website with blood, sweat and tears and nothing more. It’s not even close to as exciting as my last update which is that I became an uncle this summer. Really, though. Far far more exciting. Here’s a shot I took of little Dominic Matthew with my grandma’s iPad. (Yes, you read that right…)

I promise not to keep any of this non-existent audience waiting so long, ever again.

We submitted the poster to Laughing Squid who had it stolen by the The Village Voice and later Gothamist. We even got some Tumblr love from a publication which I myself enjoy on occasion. Maybe next time we’ll get a feature. =P

Shortly thereafter, The Hipster-Guido caught the eye of a BuzzFeed editor and was turned into a “create your own” post which allowed readers to take the character and create their own version of the meme. By itself that’s pretty awesome, but the fun didn’t stop there.

Somewhere along the line, one of MSNBC’s “Technolog” editors got their hands on the new meme and gave it some play…

MSNBC called the H-G a “hot new meme” though, I personally wouldn’t go that far. Either way, Vin and I are very thankful for the exposure. It’s a lot of fun actually having eyes on your work. Next up I have high hopes for my most recent photoshop, The Mechanical Redbull.

…yeah, that’s probably not happening.

A really silly photoshop which resulted from the last DAPS meeting (and a little inspiration from The Mighty Vin) has gone viral-ish on Tumblr.

Meet Cheshire Ke$ha, an amalgamation of Ke$ha and the Cheshire Cat from Disney’s Alice In Wonderland. Everything is a Remix these days.

Thanks to a little boost from the fine folks as URLesque (namely Anna) we were even featured on Tumbler’s semi-exclusive #LOL page. Thanks guys!

Later in the week a photo I submitted to The Animal Blog was posted and got re-blogged a whole bunch too. I didn’t screen-cap that because you’ve already seen it. If you’re curious enough, you can check it out on TAB here.

It’s really hard to top something like that so I’ll just make a little list of the other things of lesser note. I connected Emilio Sparks to writer/comedienne Gaby Dunn for her 100 Interviews series on Tumblr and got to hang out the the guys from MTV’s The Buried Life at the WRXP studio with Rich Russo… okay fine, here’s a photo of that which i snapped with my iPhone:

It’s been a hectic time for me as the NB Technologies office has been rocking it’s way through Q4 of 2010. We’ve completed a number of projects that are all pretty exciting. Two standouts are the all new Alberto’s Restaurant website and the re-designed NEC Questions (For which I spent countless hours doing data entry. Tavis and Carlo did all of the heavy lifting on development)

I was finally able to complete a long running project/collaboration with my friend Dianna Vassallo on the HTML/CSS re-design on NativoLLC.com, special thanks to Carlo there for helping me re-educate myself in dev world:

Along with the builds and regular social media management, I also took part in my first speaking engagement as a “social media” expert for COAHSI: The Council for the Arts and Humanities on Staten Island at one of our NY Public Libraries here on Staten Island which was a fulfilling learning experience for me.

On top of all that we’ve begun production a web series called SINY North Shore Buzz which is hosted by my aunt Holly Wiesner Olivieri and highlights people, homes and businesses on the North Shore of Staten Island. Below is the logo that Carlo and I came up with.

Finally to wrap it up a couple more quick hits… I know it’s a lot but like I said, it’s been pretty crazy round here. 17 to Midnight was in yet another Film Festival, I photoshopped The Fly and “Fly like a G6″ together, Ran a fun show with The Higher Concept and Burnt Youth, and was interviewed about my sex life by Miss Veralyn of Veralyn Media.

NB Technologies, is moving on up in the world with a pair of firsts. This week we paid the first month and security deposit on our new office space here on Staten Island and signed up Vin Forte as our first employee. Pretty big stuff if you don’t ask me…

Last night Carlo and I worked on a new design for the company’s Twitter layout based on Tavis‘ website design

“17 to Midnight” was screened in yet another film festival, this time it was the GIAA Festival. I don’t even have a copy of the film on DVD lol

Me and Damian executed a fun idea I had about mashing up Back To The Future 2 and The Bed Intruder song in a little video we call “Bed Intruder To The Future“:

Finally, I also recently put together a little flyer for Shandelee Lake Inn’s Fly Fishing Tours, and a  little video for Chez Vous Caterers featuring footage from their appearance on David Tutera’s ‘My Fair Wedding‘:

On a totally unrelated note, I was also asked to speak at an upcoming COAHSI event with fellow SI filmmaker Geoff Celis. I’m pretty excited both because Geoff is pretty awesome and it will be my first venture into social media expertdom.

Speaking of social media expertdom, last week Carlo and I were interviewed by WNYC’s Veralyn Williams and her Radio Rookies protege Brianna. We talked about Blogging, Facebook, DAPS and Internet Culture. It was a lot of fun, I look forward to hearing the final cut of the interview in January.

Finally, my blogging career which has put me in first degree contact with my Favorite Director has now allowed me to spend some quality time with my favorite band. On Thursday, August 19th I was privileged to do coverage at  Less Than Jake’s Rocks Off concert cruise.
